Broom Groomer Mini Product Review

"'Broom Groomer Mini' Product"
Another broom groomer.Oh man. Good or bad idea? So far Bill Ward has been paid out like $35.00 - hahaha, probably not the best idea. Maybe some retailer is going to buy up a bunch, who knows.

Like I mentioned before, Broom Groom has a fabulous design. Broom Groomer Mini also has a fabulous design. But the materials used to make these suck! The bristles will fall apart and the plastic is ho-hum. Also, a mini? Who needs a mini? I don't know - I personally think money could have been spent elsewhere...

$9.99 - almost the same price as the Broom Groom. Hmm...

Broom Groomer Mini - what to say? I'm at a loss for words.

Scribe Product Review

"'Scribe' Product - Study Where You Sleep"
Is this one of those tough to sell items? Probably...how many people are out in the stores or even online looking for a "modular mobile desk?" In my opinion, not many. The market is small - just another thing to lug around or hide in your closet. People seem to manage without one.

Scribe's design is cool. Yes, I agree - the makeup of this product is fine. Scribe demonstrates how to use this device as a multi-functional tool for a dorm room, bed room, etc. Nonetheless, is it needed?

Here's the other kicker, Scribe is at a price point of $34.99. Hmmm. Fair? Probably, but once again the market needs something more. This is nothing new nor is it anything everyone desires. Let's put it down to $24.99 and I think we have a deal.

Folks, this is a product review not some yippee kai yay tickle party. I'm not a fan of this product. I'm not a fan of its price point. I'm not a fan of its lackluster functionality. Unfortunately I have to give Scribe a thumbs down.

Broom Groom Product Review

"'Broom Groom' Product - A Sweeping Improvement in Dustpans"
Everyone hates the nasty, icky dust balls that crust onto the ends of brooms. It's just not right. Well let's make it right with Quirky's Broom Groom product! Let's add one simple function to the dustpan and boom - we have lift off! (Literally)

Broom Groom has a great design but does it have great appeal? The aesthetics are fine - I'm not talking about that - I'm talking about the quality of the product - the resources used. Personally, I like those wicker brooms - they seem to be more sturdy and last longer. The plastic, bristley brooms are normally cheap & fall apart easily. Maybe add a new Broom Groom design using wicker broom & metal dustpan? I think that would solve a lot of the issues that face this product. (Don't make the quality of this product cheap)

Sure $11.99 fits this product: it's cheap. Let's get a real broom & dustpan on the market and see how well it does. Sell a wicker broom with the metal pan at $24.99 or even $29.99 and then you have a product! Don't get me wrong the design is fabulous, let's just work on the materials.

Broom Groom is a great product, honestly. If you hate working around dustballs, well, buy this and shake em off! Don't get crusty and old with your broom, upgrade & feel new & clean!

Converge Product Review

"'Converge' Product - Rest and Recharge"
Jin Chai placed this product into Quirky with confidence. The original product design was named & looked more like a row of ducks connected together to charge different Apple devices. I would go to say that - now - it is a lot more simple, which is more effective.

Converge has an excellent design! Extremely sleek & molded. Imagine a home for your ipad, iphone, android, digital camera, etc. - where you can easily charge the devices via USB or directly connect & upload photos, videos, etc. Also, take away all that crazy tangle-age of the USB cords - what nightmare - NOW GONE! Yipee!

Converge is priced at $39.99, which is fine - considering it easily manages all of your USB overflow and intelligently & "sleekly" provides a home for all of your devices. The price is definitely efficient and most understanding.

Well done design team! Way to pull through and develop a product for electronic devices for charging and "resting." I am more than proud to show off my Converge next to my sleek Apple products. Fits right in!

Tether Product Review

"'Tether' Product - Save Your Stemware"
What an easy product that can save you money. Unfortunately wine glasses break all the time - but why not add some insurance while cleaning them in the dishwasher? Tether comes in a pack of four and definitely holds on tight!

Tether, a wine glass holder for the dishwasher, finds a way to clasp on to your wire dishwasher system. Each Tether is approximately 7" long and slides down onto the wires and grips around your wine glasses. "KISS" - Keep it simple stupid - yes, it does.

Tether sells for $12.99 a pack - including 4 Tethers to hold your wine glasses. Really, I don't see anyone buying more than one or two packs. So for let's say two packs - $26.00 - you are able to add insurance to your favorite wine glasses. Maybe they are your wedding wine glasses - yes - well worth the $12.99!

You buy insurance everywhere in life - health, car, house, etc. - why not buy wine glass insurance. Have a safety net for the dishwasher. Make sure you are prepared for the turbulent times! Harr harr harr. Functionality is on par. A great Mother's Day or Father's Day gift!

Power Curl Product Review

"'Power Curl' Product - Get Wound Up"
All Apple laptop users find themselves in the same predicament - organization for the power cord. Apple's MagSafe Power Adapter can be easily managed by Quirky's Power Curl. Quickly and efficiently store your laptop power adapter in seconds.

Power Curl is a means to an end. Literally, the Power Curl brings it altogether. The Power Curl is obviously the right size for the job. The design is insanely simple - which is what we need - nothing complicated. Apple's MagSafe Power Adapter neatly hides within the Power Curl and wraps around it.

The Power Curl can be purchased for $12.99 - legit price. The Power Curl is reasonably priced for the job it performs. I give Quirky two thumbs up for the pricing. I'd buy it if I had a MagSafe Power Adapter.

The Power Curl curls up right next to you for a job well done. Functionality is there - performance is there - now go buy one!

Pivot Power Product Review

"'Pivot Power' Product - A Creative Outlet"
Talk about a craze - everyone is crazy about this product! No joke, this thing has sold like hot cakes. Congratulations to Jake Zien who designed this product. To date - Jake has been paid out over $240,000! Woah! Will he be the first Quirky millionaire? Possibly. How exciting!

Alright - on to the design of the power outlet product. Jake Zien wonderfully engineered this power outlet to adapt to different angles and more importantly different power devices. This power outlet has six adjustable outlets and six feet of cord length. The one downside is that the product is a bit bulky. Other than that - I give the design a huge thumbs up!

The Pivot Power's price is fairly reasonable at $29.99. If it was priced below $20.00, I would have my doubts about the products quality. If it was priced above $30.00, then I don't think it would sell as well. I mean - who buys a power outlet for over $30.00? Exactly...well done Quirky - price is pretty efficient to the quality ratio.

The Pivot Power's function is superb! A problem that needed to be fixed! Our phone chargers, camera chargers, etc. that are too large to fit on a normal power strip - easily managed on the Pivot Power! The Pivot Power excels at maintaining simplicity while providing adequate functionality.
