Environmentally Friendly Sponge

PROBLEM(S):
One, I get sick of throwing away handled sponges. What a waste.
Two, I get sick of picking up that nasty metal catcher - that catches disgusting food particles.
Three, I hate having multiple products sitting around: why not a plastic brush + sponge in one!

NEED A SPONGE that you dont have to throw away?!?! A MULTI-FUNCTIONAL SPONGE that has LIQUID SOAP, BRUSH, SPONGE, TONGS!
CHECK THIS OUT!
SOLUTION: this multi-functional sponge serves as a liquid soap holder, replaceable sponge holder, plastic brush, & tongs.
HOW IT WORKS: The handle is attached to the liquid soap dispenser. Now, there is a lever (the same one on your laptops) that quick releases the "plastic brush/sponge head." It's quite simple. In fact, you can easily replace the sponge. As for the tongs, they are inside of the handle held in there by a ring; press the side to pop out.

Key Features

  • Quick Release Head
  • Replaceable Sponge
  • 2-in-1 Plastic Brush + Sponge
  • Tongs in Handle

Ventu Product Review

"'Ventu' Product - Strain And Serve"
What a beautiful product. The Ventu - probably not the coolest or sleekest of names but I guess it works...Ehhh - yea - whatever...anyway, the Ventu is this epic straining bowl that doubles as a serving bowl. What an awesome concept! It seems dumb to have both a straining bowl and a serving bowl...more dishes to wash - am I right?

Initially, I was hesitant about the Ventu Design - I was concerned about leaking water. Nonetheless, I didn't get to see a prototype in action! The design is definitely simple yet effective. I like that. Once they released the video of the prototype in action - I was on board!

The Ventu's price was a bit of a dilemma: $54.99. What a middle ground price, am I right? Sure it's a quality product. I agree. So here's the deal - either make it from plastic and sell it for $29.99 or keep these materials and jack up the price to $74.99! Determining the appropriate price is important - having a middle ground price for a product puts both sides on the fence! You have the high-end clients - thinking it's a cheap product - because the price isn't high enough - and the other side - saying, "Hey that's a little too high for my blood." Yea - middle ground pricing sucks!

The Ventu has amazing function - and definitely a lot of shelf use! I highly recommend this product! I would definitely purchase one for family members - (i.e.) Mother's Day, etc. Nonetheless, Quirky - figure out your pricing options - middle ground will get you no where...

Sudsi Product Review

"'Sudsi' Product - So Long Scum"
"So Long Scum" - hahahaha - I love that tag-line - so funnnnnnny! Peace out cannibals of mass destruction...The bathroom is a scary place, hahaha. Just kidding - but cleaning the bathroom is a pain. I have back issues - so it really, really frustrates me to clean the bath tub. You do a ton of bending over, which can really stir up trouble-areas in the back. The Sudsi was designed to help do cleaning at an easier distance: a more comfortable and natural distance.

The Sudsi Design is pretty gnarly! It's fun - it's easy - it's simple. This product will get the job done and promote a healthy body & bathroom! I really like the Design & the interchangeable heads: polish, scour, scrub. Awesome!

The Sudsi has a minor flaw. Not necessarily the price. Usually I'm all over the price - but I'm fine with the price...going for $69.99 - it's the electric function. What the crap! I feel like the electric function will be crap. If it were really high powered, then I'd be up for testing it out. But I know - I just know this is gonna be a crappy function and really take away from the quality of this product.

Personally, I don't think there is a need for the electric function. I think it's degrading. Take it out - drop the price to $49.99 and you have yourself a killer product! Prove me wrong Quirky, prove me wrong...

Space Bar Product Review

"'Space Bar' Product - More Space, More Ports, Less Clutter"
So sleek - so pretty - so cool! The Space Bar truly looks incredible! It flows perfectly with the Apple iMac & products...Couldn't have done a better job - in my opinion. This product was one of the quick ones that hit the market & broke free from pre-sale...

The Space Bar Design is legit: simple. This product is a space saver. I like the fact that you can slide your keyboard underneath this product. The ability to have multiple USB ports in a convenient location is key. Super chill product.

The Space Bar's price @ $79.00 is fine. I'm cool with that - I think Quirky did an awesome job pricing this product - not too inexpensive - otherwise, they'd lose money & it would make the product seem really cheap...not too high - or people wouldn't find value in it...great work...I think $69.99-89.99 is a legit price range...

The Space Bar is a cool product - shipping as we speak - if you have the cash & you have a Mac - get it! I'm sure you won't be upset...A shout out to the inventor - great job!

    Nautilus Product Review

    "'Nautilus' Product - Precise Plunging"
Originally the Snake-Auger Style Plunger! Nonetheless, they changed up the design and it's pretty darn cool! Yes - this plunger is extremely effective! The snake-auger style design would not work. I guess it was all just too much to consider. Quirky did a lot of testing for this product. I have no doubt that it will work and have no problem they decided to go a different direction.

The Nautilus Design was formed by understanding the natural suction cup of an octopus. Pretty cool, eh? I really like the fact that this design was formed by inspiration from nature. I believe a lot of natural occurrences & features of our world can be used to develop super gnarly products - this being one of them.

The Nautilus is a little over-priced @ $54.99 - I think the price could have been lower if they didn't use a stainless steel housing-shell. I think Quirky is moving toward higher quality items - higher end products for the house...which is fine...I don't have a problem with that...

So is it worth $55 bucks to buy this plunger when you could get one just as effective for $20 bucks? You decide! I'm definitely curious - and my curiosity leads me to want one...

    Cloak 2 Product Review

    "'Cloak 2' Product - Prop + Protect"
An attempt to keep up with the times! The iPad2 was released by Apple and a week later Quirky had an iPad2 Brief! Way to be on top of things! Furthermore, they decided to update their model of the Cloak. Another great call! Apple Accessories sell like hot cakes!

The Cloak 2 works well! Although, I'm not the biggest fan of the removable part. I feel like I will lose that piece somewhere...I understand why it's removable - because it ultimately cuts down on costs. The new design has a lot less plastic and material in general. It is cost effective for Quirky but slightly - yes slightly* dampers the concept. They could have easily made it cost effective and no removable parts. Pretty whack if you ask me...

The Cloak 2 is priced @ $50.00, which is too much considering it was made for less. Sure it will sell. Sure Quirky  will make a nice profit - but overall - I would say it's not as good as the original Cloak. The removable part really killed it for me...

    Fender Product Review

    "'Fender' Product - iPad Bumper"
Fender - the iPad Bumper - this product turned out really cool! I must say the brief description was insanely misleading; nonetheless, I fully support this product. The iPad's Smart Cover goes well with this iPad bumper. This product is made out of rubber and protects the iPad well...

The Fender looks great on the iPad2! And like I mentioned - it goes well with the Smart Cover...If you bought the Smart Cover, then I definitely recommend this iPad Bumper to protect the back of the iPad. The Fender allows for full functionality of the iPad2 including all ports and cameras! Couldn't look better guys! Great work out there!

Another item to note - is the price - the Fender is $20.00 - totally reasonable. Watch the video to see it in demonstration - the ability to protect. If I had an iPad2 or an iPad - I would totally buy one of these in cahoots with the Smart Cover...Good stuff!

    Contort Product Review

"'Contort' Product - Protects With a Flex"
Cord Management - seems like a major theme for Quirky...Not saying that's a bad thing - in fact - it's a huge seller and definitely needed in the market place. Nonetheless, cord management solutions dominate the Quirky Product Line...so here's the 'Contort...'

The Contort does the job. If you have too many USB cables floating around behind your computer or next to your laptop, then charge this product to your credit card...The 'flex-hang' reminds me of gym class - but totally goes with the concept...the design is chill - and I'm down with it...

Plug errrr in and get clutter free. I think that's the key - eliminating clutter from your life. By the way if you have an awesome cord management solution - submit it to Quirky - hahaha - you'll probably win and win the hearts of the market, too...Oh yea - price - the Contort - is slightly pricey - I would honestly pay $24.99 for it - but $34.99 is a little steep - ehhh take the plunge!

    Wrapster Product Review

"'Wrapster' Product - Wrangle the Tangle"
Legit product here peeps! iPod/iPhone headphones really frustrate me. Sincerely...They do..So what an amazing product - something simple yet effective! The Wrapster is it - this product is a BAM! product...

The Wrapster is a sweet design...fling your headphones into the side pockets of this device and simple roll-up. The Wrapster is easy to maintain & definitely portable...It's made out of a durable plastic material and comes in multiple colors - including - sky blue, white, grey, & purple...

The best part about this product is that the Wrapster goes for $6.50!!!!! Whatttttt?!?! Yes! I love this price point - they are making something like $4.00 on it but woah - alright - so easy to purchase...Click the mouse - type in your address & you don't even realize it's on your bank account statement! That's how inexpensive this product is - definitely worth it!

By the way - I ended up going to a Quirky Event where they were packaging & shipping Wrapsters - I packaged maybe 150 of them myself. Hands on experience, harr harr harr...
