iPad2 Mobile Stand Product

iPad2 Product - It's What I Promised.

Now is the time to absolutely conquer the iPad2 Accessories market. The iPad market gets saturated in the blink of an eye. If your product can differentiate and is sincerely unique & incredibly useful, then start loading the cash into your pockets.

Here - I developed this iPad2 Mobile Stand. On Quirky's site - I presented the iPad2 stand poorly. There was confusion in the focal point. The backpack clouded the view of what product I wanted in the limelight. Now - for this blog post - I will focus on the mobile stand pictures and see if I can avoid clouding the concept!

iPad2 NEEDS FACE-TIME, Photography, HD Videoing, etc. etc. ON-THE-GO! How can we create an easy way to maneuver & manipulate the iPad2?!!!?!

IT'S NOT A CASE - IT'S A MOBILE STAND*****

PROBLEMS:
HANDS-FREE-ACCESS-On-The-Go-EASE
1. Face-Time On-The-Go - Free of Hands! (Front/Back Cameras)
2. iBook: Reading Gets Tiresome - Free of Hands! (Back Camera)
3. Photography with a Group or By Ones Self - Free of Hands! (Front/Back Cameras)
4. HD Videoing Ones Self (Front Camera) - Vlogs, Running, Transportation (Train, Subway, Car, Planes), Ill-Sick, Shopping, etc. - Free of Hands! (Front Camera)
5. HD Videoing Situations (Back Camera) - Cooking, Biking, Climbing, Skateboarding, Fishing, Animals, Documentaries, etc. - Free of Hands!
6. Watching Movies - Free of Hands! (Front Camera)
7. iPad Apps: "Mirror," Alarm Clock/Stand, GPS (Lay the Plastic Pad Flat on dashboard), Video Games, - ALL Free of Hands! (Front/Back Cameras)

SOLUTION:
iPad2 MOBILE STAND. A MOBILE STAND that lays flat or buckles to loops on the outside of a backpack, pants, etc. If attached to an object - extend the retractable (flexible-steel rotating) arm and position the iPad at any angle desired. If you want to use it as a laptop, then lay it flat. If you want to video yourself & edit it or do Face-Time then angle the front toward you. If you want to video something in front of you - angle it toward the scene (back camera captures scene).

Key Features

  • FREE HANDS: Exploring the Capabilities of the iPad2
  • Manipulate the space & direction of the iPad2
  • Dynamic Plastic Pad creates versatile situations: backpack, pants, ground, etc.
  • Allows for iPad Smart Cover to be in use at ANY TIME

Hopefully I expressed & presented this concept better in this post than on the Quirky site! Please leave comments for concerns for the design...

Snake-Plunger Renderings

Snake-Plunger Renderings Also Known As An Auger.
"Sink Auger" Style - Attachable Head Unit
The Quirky community pointed out flaws with current concept designs; therefore, I took those flaws and used them to my advantage and came up with a concept design as close to bringing closure as I could.

BBQ Cooking Product

We are in the midst of BBQ Product Eval!

What's going on behind closed doors? Who knows - hopefully a great decision is being made!

Nonetheless, my BBQ product is a little much...I highly doubt it will even be featured on their video. I do not "pimp" my products so it's extremely difficult to get on their radar. My main hope rests in the iPad product. I have a lot of confidence in my concept and I know it could be a real head-turner. Nevertheless, there are 4 similar products, which knocks my chances of being picked - down to almost zero. I spent a lot of time on those renderings so maybe I could pursue it over at kickstarter - that is if I don't get picked at Quirky...

ALL-IN-ONE BBQ Cooking Tray, Serving Tray, & Accessories - WOAH! Smokin BABY!!!

"ClickNGrill" - Oh YEA! Inspiration from the Good Ole' ClickNCook!!!

PROBLEM: Too Many Things To Do While You Barbecue (Rhymed) - Come On Now - WE WANT SOMETHING THAT CAN DO IT ALL & IS EASY TO CLEAN!

MY SOLUTION: ALL-IN-ONE BBQ Cooking Tray, Serving Tray, & Accessories

This ALL-IN-ONE BBQ Master will absolutely BLOW YOUR MIND! My gosh. The BBQ Platform includes: a cooking tray, which is used on the grill and moved back onto the serving tray via a "pick-up ring," which leads me to the serving tray - used for both pre-grilling and post-grilling, it is lined with silicone layer for easy cleanup! In addition, it has a plastic cover to keep foods warm & keep insects away. Inside the bottom of the serving tray are accessory ports, which holds salt, pepper, RE-FUELABLE lighter, & fork/temperature gauge. Also, the middle port is for the handle when transporting the tray as a whole. Therefore, the handle is the last part - which makes this whole thing so unique. (INSPIRATION FROM CLICKNCOOK)

Note: The handle will appropriately have the steel partly inside and partly outside of the plastic tray - to create leverage - so the handle will be able to support all the weight and not snap in half...(IF THE WEIGHT IS STILL TOO MUCH, then maybe there can be a new design with an additional handle - making two ports on the end with two handles to hold.

Note2: The cooking tray/serving tray has a "back rim" that helps avoid losing any foods off onto the grill or ground.

Note3: The handle could also have a flash light built in. People like being able to see their food cooking under dark conditions. This could solve that problem.

Key Features

  • "ClickNGrill" w/Accessories: Salt & Pepper, Lighter, & Fork/Temperature Gauge
  • Sleek Serving Tray: Keeps Food Hot + Fresh With Lid & Metal Tray
  • Multi-Use Metal Cooking Tray w/Easy Moving "Pick-Up Ring"
  • EXTREMELY EASY TO CLEAN

Comparisons

  • THIS MULTI-FUNCTIONAL, UBER-INTENSE, BBQ MASTER HAS NO OTHER CONTENDERS: except the individuals.
  • Lighter
  • Temperature Gauge
  • Metal Cooking Tray
  • Serving Tray
  • Salt & Pepper Holders
Yea - this sucker - is a product from 2030 - your mind can't handle it! It's okay, just wait for 2040, then maybe - maybe - you'll be able to process it's power!

Oh by the way - iPad2 Product Brief VOTING - I have a concept that will blow your mind! NEXT POST!

Kitchen Sink Product

Did I say I'd post my wife's submission today? I think so - and here it is folks!

She definitely killed it with her concept: I really liked it.

Nonetheless, a lot of people mentioned Andrea's kitchen mittens would "do-it-all" and there was no need for this - also - someone sent some patent crap about it - I dont know...She has no idea what's going on anyway - no clue when it's over - nothing - hahaha - so I'm sure her feelings aren't hurt either way...

Whimsical, multi-functional rubber gloves used to tackle even the toughest grime without making a mess of your manicure.

To tackle the dreaded burden of washing the dishes, I've designed SCRUBgloves. These whimsical, multi-functional gloves will have you looking forward to your next battle with bakes on grease!

PROBLEMS:
1. Manicure gets mangled when washing dishes without gloves.
2. Heat from the water and chemicals from soap dries out even the most supple of hands.
3. Current multi-functional gloves on the market are not dishwasher safe and are a breeding ground for bacteria.
4. Regular gloves do nothing in regard to actually removing grime from dishes.

SOLUTION:
Rubber scrubber whisker pads attached to cheerful, whimsical kitchen gloves. Inside of gloves possibly infused with vitamin E.

HOW IT WORKS:
It's simple! The rubber scrubber whisker pads remove debris of food and aid in the process of washing dishes while protecting hands and nails from harsh temperatures and chemicals.

Key Features

  • Dishwasher Safe -Rubber Scrubber Whiskers!
  • Extended Lifetime!
  • Whimsical Design - Sure to brighten up any kitchen!

Comparisons

  • Sponge Kitchen Gloves
  • Regular Kitchen Gloves
Product Review - coming soon! Come back to check it out!
By the way - I obviously did her renderings, too - if you need renderings and are willing to pay for them, then let me know - we can collaborate your idea into a visual that will easily show what you are thinking!

"Cordies" Classic Product Review

Another product review! Oh yea! This time we will take a look at the old "Cordies."

Everyone needs management. Even if it's just usb/cord management...it's true. Stephen Stewart did an awesome job at creating this product. The end result is pretty darn solid.

"Cordies" Cable Organizer LINK

The issue? Nevertheless, even a simple product can have issues. And apparently this guy isn't weighted enough. Maybe if they put a few pounds on him, hah, jk - but seriously. This cordie can be oddly shapped and tough to keep in an orderly manner. Nonetheless, it get's the job done - and that's what its supposed to do, right?!?

Overall, I give this product a NORMAL THUMBS UP - it gets the job done - but it's not a SUPER WHIMSICAL product: it doesn't stop my breath but it does stop my cords from being EVERYWHERE! ahhhh! hahaha - go purchase this beast - it's worth the $9.99...sincerely...
